This camera is a gem.
I have 5 digital cameras and the Samsung L210 is ideal for those times that you do not want to carry a large SLR or medium size super zoom. Just put in your pocket and go.
The picture quality is excellent and the sound is very slightly below the average of the ISO. I do not think this device will allow you to take a bad shot.
I am amazed by Samsung features enclosed in this small and build quality of the camera.
We can not do better for the price.

Many problems – A. Pulliam –
I bought this camera in September 2008. I tried to love this camera. I bought this unit specifically because it was highly rated by Consumer Reports. However, I had many problems with it. As a critic of others stressed, there is a considerable lag after pressing the capture key. And "even if you're automatically detect and correct red-eye mode, which is the default mode automatically when you turn the camera (when in this mode isabout a 3 full seconds, my husband and I are timed, and then another 3 full seconds before you can take another photo). It is a long period of time if you work dual image stabilization (2 seconds), which has never seemed to help stabilize my image, it only takes more time to take the picture was Nor can you use the flash during Dual Image Stabilization. In addition, the digital zoom is a joke, pictures come out so grainy it's not worth the trouble. Also, it often takes time to save theimages and, of course, if you do not even realize savings and off the device and you lose the image, even if part of it is stored in the camera, so when you turn the camera behind and try to go see older images will only crash when you try to watch the corrupted file and you must remove the battery to make it out to restart it to be functional at all.

However, when I remembered to change the setting to automatic flashautmatic instead of red eyes and dual image stabilization is out and I did not zoom to activate the digital zoom, so it takes a pretty picture. It's just very eccentric, you must remember to do all these things, which for me is not worth it.

They have not learned all the options yet, but for now I just put in AUTO mode. Simply by using this option, photos are clear and focused. The only problem is it takes forever for the photo flash really. Slow there so missed the action scenes.

I bought this unit in 2003, mainly to take pictures under water (with a site dedicated). He served very well. Best feature is its size, you can really have on you at all times, like a camera phone, but much much better
Some suggestions:
– Always use the maximum resolution, so the new pack, memory cards larger.
– The low level lighting, use the bracketing function or a breath: both take lots of pictures, from a simple push of a button, so the first will be blurred (due toThe movements of your when you press the button) and the second will be strong. This leads to better results than using the flash, which is terrible, as in other cameras of this size
– Can be slow at first, to maintain autofocus permanently. This may mean that you run out of juice pretty quickly, so pack an extra battery and recharging at night
– The macro is very precise and sharp, follow more closely and use it!

Finally, my flooded (my fault), and I amin search of a second, first, despite all the improvements in technology since 2003 …

I have this unit 4 years ago and is still good. This is an instant camera hardly surprising. I know I can just pick up and go use it to document my life with my friends and family. I really have no complaints except that the battery was a little "annoyance to office until I had the adapter to the wall.
I will use this camera for a long time to come!

I lost my faith in a time Japanese giant Sony … have gradually gone downhill over the years and my personal faith in them has been eroded by the DSC T1 camera for other things such as stereos, boom boxes, TV and other Sony product I ' I never bought … are cheap products that do not offer customer support and have lost contact with one simple word: reliability.

This camera broke after a few months of use … and bought with the hope that it wouldbreak due to the motion of non-slow … I loved the design of the camera – that cover the lens protected … but LCD has started to lose his reason over me and the resulting images reflect this …

I am so disgusted with Sony … I went to Samsung and Nikon and other companies that are making progress.

I prefer using film cameras. I decided to try this because of Sony's digital lens (Carl Zeiss). Zeiss makes large glass edge (cameras) Contax G2 good example.

I was disappointed by this camera. I have not been able to obtain images of this camera.

The videos are dark, when taken in ambient light situations. You should not have to turn your house like a photo studio for the video. I'm back, front and accent lighting. Now, my videos look great.

If it is a point and shoot that. I do not trust this camera for my important photos. What I have in the past and were really disappointed.

Its really not worthmoney. You can do better.

If you have one, make sure you have a memory card and protective screen at once. The internal memory is almost nothing and the screen scratches easily. I 4MG maps in all 3.

I wanted a new camera to replace my Easy Share 6.1 mp digital camera, and thought I could not go wrong with Nikon. I wanted a new camera with at least 10 MP, and plenty of features for our annual event of PET images with Santa. I wanted to make sure that the pictures were really clear, like the ones my friend took with his Canon last year. Now I know that if I wanted the images directly from the shoot with a Canon, which is what I bought.

The images of yesterday weretotally unusable. Came out too dark, too light or too yellow and yellow, without any adjustment, just using the automatic mode. I return to my part easy with 6.1 MP today, because at least the colors are true.

I wish I had read all these comments neget before my purchase.

I bought this camera over the summer thinking it would take some nice pictures during a visit to Italy. Overall I am very disappointed with the picture quality especially when you take pictures in museums and night firing. Inside the museum, the pictures came out grainy and I noticed the camera could not take decent photos at night. Night watching the images blurred and fuzzy. I originally paid 149.99 for this device, and then resold by taking a loss of $ 69. Avoidthis device at any price. I'll stick to Cannon or Sony to buy my next camera. I'll think twice before buying a new Nikon.

I installed this device to monitor my baby in his crib, especially for me to hear when I'm in the room and he needs my help.

Installation is very easy – only took me 10 minutes. The web-based interface is not as decorated, but very easy to use. After installing a small ActiveX control, works immediately with my Internet Explorer 6.5. I was also able to create multiple user accounts so that my son is not as tech-savvy parents and grandparentsuncles / aunts can see I live in Taiwan and the West Coast. It was operational for several weeks and no previously reported bugs have been found. Imagine that updated firmware / software.

My overall comment:
Pro
– Very easy to configure
– Supports two-way audio communication – I can hear my son and talk
– Chamber of rotation, zoom, white balance (Iris), also the LED can be controlled easily by web interface
– Ability to createmultiple user accounts with diff. Privileges
– Built-in Web-Based Streaming Server – very easy to set up a web-cast
– A self-focus and auto-white balance

Weaknesses:
– Does not support Firefox (reason for 4 stars)
– Autofocus may not focus entirely

    If this camera for over two years and worked rock solid. I have no problem with it the connection and installation only took about 15 minutes. I have the camera sitting in a window and can read a license plate a block away. I have the camera set up to cover my car in my driveway at night and low lux capability allows you to see very well with a street light as illumination. The price is a bit "stiff D, but the lowest price-Link units are a drop in the generalquality and characteristics. I am not sure if the problems were with the unit initially, but I have no problem with the camera (other than price).

    Device is now in operation for two months. Setup was easy (LAN) is installed and running in 15 minutes, then broadcast router port.     It's a bit "overwhelming cameras when you are looking. This is far and models. And nobody wants to end up with a lemon.

    I think that Canon has almost the perfect point-and-shoot digital camera. It is dedicated switches for things that need to "switch", dedicated keys for things that need to be buttoned, etc. Go ahead, use a digital camera, 4-5 years ago when manufacturers were still trying to understand what that was really necessary, what the user needed to movequickly, and you will understand what I mean.

    This camera is beautiful. Solid construction. Since you do not need anywhere near 10 megapixels, fixed at 6 and you'll be happy. Menus sense. The batteries can die when you're in Botswana and East can be replaced.

    It is a TAD big for the pocket (a boy), and is surprisingly heavy if you're a wimp like me and a man bag. Not "fat" per se, just heavy enough that surely notice when he is not in the bag.Indeed, being a bit "heavy in this area would be a good thing.

    So stop reading reviews endless. You have better things to do with your time. Buy this camera. Then go buy 4 AA batteries and a charger for $ 15 from Target. Just Do not Drop It on the lens that I did … unless you are looking for an excuse to upgrade.

    My son is more experienced with cameras and said that was what I needed. I read other reviews and decided to go. I received this camera in great cond. Easy to use and are very satisfied with the quality. This is one of the best camera I ever owned (and I like pink)! I was a bit "disappointed that it takes memory sticks of different sizes than what I did, but not a big deal. LOVE Image stabilization function. Most of my pictures are blurry before, but no more!Totally love that! Also love the other features of how to take pics – like the night, snow, etc. In addition, as the battery charger, just plugs into the wall – wireless. Think the line to switch between features may be difficult to use, but in reality it is not. Function is not really smile much, I just need more time, but it seems easier to take your pic rather than having to wait for the smile detection. Have not had the camera very long, but love it!
